Intro, welcome to Noisy Perfumes!

Hi, my name is Noam, I know this is posted a little late but this is my official first blog post! I thought to tell a bit about myself, I am 23 years old, I collect perfumes and do some perfume and beauty content on social media! My favorite perfumes are Donna Born In Roma by Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium Le Parfum and Maison Margiela Replica's Afternoon Delight. My first impression of IS101 is that it is a very informative type of class, it really talks about computers and word in an easy way and open my eyes a little to my future branding online. A skill I found super helpful was about social media (1.2.9), that's because I post on social media my perfume content so I found it relatable!

Nice to meet you all!

  1. Better late than never, Noam :-)

Collecting perfumes? Do perfumes age like wine or lose its potency with time?

Relating your passion for perfumes to something from IS101, excellent!

You will catch up and succeed in IS101-3205, Spring 2025 ^_^

  2. Hello Noam, I also have a small collection of perfumes, not much though but I am trying to expand it. My brother actually bought a YSL recently.

It is awesome to hear that you found a skill that is going to come in handy in your future for your online branding.

  5. Hello Noam!

Thats awesome! A perfume and beauty content creator must be exciting to indulge in a hobby you like and show it to people on social media. I've wanted to do something like that while back with a hobby I enjoyed but I never really found the time and I don't think I can do the recording myself because I'll feel awkward and then editing afterwards I know I'll second guess everything for sure and delete the video. Maybe one day ill like to try. How did you get your rhythm or get comfortable with being a content creator?

Nice to see your first post it's better late than never.

  6. Hi Noam! Collecting perfumes is something that I really wish I could do. Unfortunately, I am really sensitive to smells and strong scents cause me to have migraines. IS101 is very informative! I am glad that you have found it useful for your future branding on social media sites!

  7. Hello.
I'm glad to see collecting perfumes is quite normal. My wife has an abundance of perfumes as well. She got me into also expanding my cologne collection.

  10. Hey Noam,

Congrats on your first blog post! It's awesome to see how you're blending your passion for perfumes with what we're learning in IS101. The 1.2.9 section on social media is indeed super relevant, especially for someone like you who's already creating content online.

Your favorite perfumes sound amazing! I'm a big fan of Maison Margiela's Replica line too, Afternoon Delight has such a unique scent. It's great that you're finding ways to apply course material to your personal brand, that's the kind of practical learning that sticks.

Looking forward to seeing more of your posts and learning from your experiences in content creation! ^-^

  11. Hi Noam, I love perfumes. It is always hard to pick one since there are so many. I like to spray it on my wrist and let it sit to really test how it smells. They can be so expensive, so I take advantage when they go on sale at Macy's. You mentioned your favorite perfumes, and my question to you is: what is your signature perfume? Which one does your family smell and immediately know you are nearby or associate with you?

  14. Hi Noam, so I’m not the type to buy perfumes but recently I have been wanting to buy one. There are so many that I didn’t even know where to start, but now I can test out your favorites and maybe one will be my favorite too. ๐Ÿ˜Š
