I think during Phase 2 I was really lost, I understood how to work Excel because of how similar it was to Word in some aspects which makes it really nice and consistent in the softwares. But that wasn't my problem and it was just more battling a lot of stress that kept me behind. I had a love hate relationship with the A4, A5 and A6 assignments but it was more because I was so stubborn and locked on getting it right. I eventually did and suddenly it really clicked for me.
I really liked learning about the different chart types in 5.8.2, it was useful for me since I want to get into the business world and when I get my degree I will be using those types of tools for data in my own practice. I started to implement the things I learned in my every day life as a starting point for myself to have a good base in media. If I'm being honest, being in the class has driven me to want to reach new heights and become more successful. I found myself filled with ambition and this hunger to work. This came after I promised myself I wouldn't give up so I definitely will be keeping up that attitude!
Yes, the hardest part of IS101 is over and I'm elated that things clicked for you, Noam :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm even more elated and proud that you are implementing the things you learned in your daily life as a starting point for yourself to have a good base in media ^_^
Keep up that 'never give up' attitude!
The A4, A5, and A6 were definitely challenging and took a lot of patience to figure out some of the formulas. But that moment when it finally clicks is such a satisfying feeling of accomplishment! I’m glad that this class helped spark your ambition. Keep that drive going Noam!
ReplyDeleteHi Noam, I also found A4-A6 the most challenging but the most rewarding. You had to rely on what you learned to make the assignments work in your favor. You are doing great catching up! Keep going, we are almost there! :)
